Hi, welcome to Crafty Little Devil.
My name is Helen, or Hell to my friends, which is where the name Crafty Little Devil came from.
I've always enjoyed doing arts and crafts from a young age. It started when me and my sister used to make earrings and sell them to the other children in our street. After a lull of going through college and working a normal job, I rediscovered my passion for making things and took up card and jewellery making.
After getting requests from friends, family and work colleagues for cards, jewellery and wedding stationary, I then started thinking about what else could I do.
At the time my sister was about to have her second child, nappy cakes had become all the rage, so I thought, why not, I'll give that a go. I started making traditional three tier nappy cakes and have over the years extended my range to include the more intricate designs as shown on this site, some of which have been issued by friends as challenges.
I have also over the years (often a due to a request) turned my hand to making sweetie trees, hamper gifts, word art pictures and since having my own mini human I've added teacher thank you gifts and cards.
I'm in the process of expanding my range and am always up for a new challenge.
